.DISCUSSION...
Hot and mostly dry conditions are forecast to continue over the
Independence Day weekend. High temperatures are expected to reach
into the upper 90s to near 100F Saturday and Sunday with deep mixing
likely each afternoon. This should bring minimum RH values toward 30-40%
each day. Southerly low level moisture advection should bring in moister
air early next week with minimum RH values increasing to near 50%. This
airmass will become more favorable for afternoon showers and storms
each day through at least Wednesday next week. Hot conditions with temperatures
in the mid to upper 90s likely persists as well. In terms of wind, surface winds
are expected to remain fairly light the next several days, starting
out of the southeast this weekend, becoming more southwesterly next week.
Fog potential: Brief patchy fog possible.
