No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of
critical thresholds.
Hot and humid conditions remain in place through Sunday. Minimum
RH values will range from 40-55 percent this afternoon. As
atmospheric moisture increases, minimum RH values will trend
slightly higher each day this weekend, increasing to
45-60 percent on Saturday and 50-65 percent on Sunday. Isolated
afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon
in portions of north Georgia but chances are closer to
10-20 percent. Winds will be W at 4-8 mph today and largely NW at
4-8 MPH on Saturday. Mixing heights will peak between 4-6kft this
afternoon, with the highest values in east-central Georgia.
Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are
expected on Saturday, this time with the highest chances
(20-30 percent) in central Georgia. More substantial rainfall is
anticipated Sunday afternoon into Monday.
