No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
Storms have dissipated across the area this afternoon with only a
few showers remaining across the Oconee and portions of central
Georgia. Some afternoon storms may be possible across central
Georgia through the evening, but these should remain isolated,
bringing a quick half inch of rain or so for any that form. RHs
remain elevated within the moist air mass preventing any fire wx
concerns.
Tomorrow will be very warm with a heat advisory in place.
Temperatures will be in the 90s across north and central Georgia
outside of any elevated locations. RHs remain elevated, so heat
indices will be in the triple digits. A line of storms may impact
north Georgia during the evening to early overnight hours that
will bring strong, gusty winds capable of some tree damage. How
far south this line is able to hold together is uncertain with
line expected to fall apart as it moves across north Georgia.
