No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Dry and cold air are expected across all fire zones today. Gusty NW
winds around 20 mph are likely; while areas of higher elevation
across northern GA could see gusts exceeding 30 mph at times.
Relative humidities will fall between 25-30% this afternoon although
with extremely dry air aloft, these values have the possibility to
fall to 20%. Given the generous helping of rain that we got
yesterday, fuels are still a bit too damp to consider a fire danger
statement; that being said weather conditions remain favorable for
erratic fire activity.
