Relative humidity values will remain above critical thresholds
with precipitation returning for some by Sunday.
A tad cooler today with the increase in cloud cover. Min RH
values will be near 35-40 percent this afternoon. Mixing heights
will reach 2-3kft in the north mountains and 3-4kft in all other
zones. Surface and 20ft winds increase out of the E this
afternoon, sustained at 10 to 15mph with gusts of 20 to 25 mph.
Winds likely remain slightly elevated into Sunday. Some scattered
showers are possible Sunday morning into the afternoon, mostly
for western GA. Much of eastern Georgia may see a few showers as
well, however a wedge front will limit much of the rainfall
activity. Any rainfall is unlikely to be saturating. The next
chance at meaningful rain will be Wednesday into Thursday of next
week.
