.DISCUSSION...
Expect windy and cold conditions from this evening through
Wednesday. A few snow showers are possible across north and
northern portions of central GA through the evening. No
significant accumulations are expected. A Winter Weather Advisory
has been issued for portions of north GA. Some areas good see
light accumulations on elevated surfaces and grassy areas to
0.25 inches. The highest elevations could receive up to 1"+. The
rest of the foreacast area will likely not see any accumulations
of snow. No further precipitation is expected through mid week.
Winds through the period start off elevated and gusty out of the
NW, with gusts up to 35mph. Winds taper slightly through tomorrow
but return with gusts of 15 to 25mph tomorrow afternoon
(remaining NW). Minimum RH values will remain above 50 percent
for most areas today, however these drop tomorrow to 20 to
30 percent tomorrow afternoon. Transport winds remain NW through
the period initially at 20 to 30 mph becoming 15 to 25 mph
tonight through tomorrow. Mixing heights peak 4-5kft each day.
