No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of
critical thresholds.
Rain showers and cloud cover have overspread much of north
Georgia and is beginning to build into portions of central
Georgia. Heaviest rainfall today will be across the NW portion of
the state, where rainfall rates in excess of 1-2" per hour will
be possible. Showers and cloud cover linger through the night and
is expected to build once again into north Georgia tomorrow
morning, overspreading the rest of north and central Georgia
through the day. Rainfall may be heavy enough at times for
pockets of flash flooding to develop, especially in areas that
are prone to it. Severe weather is not anticiptated at this time.
