.Discussion...
High pressure is center almost directly over the Florida Peninsula
early this afternoon and will move east into the Atlantic by
Wednesday, ahead of an approaching cold front pressing into the
region from out of the northwest. Dispersions will be low in some
areas of northeast FL today with the weaker flow, especially towards
the Ocala National Forest. The front approaching Wednesday will
bring thicker clouds and showers over interior GA, which will spread
southeastward across northeast FL through Wednesday Night. Better
mixing will result in good dispersions ahead of the front and
rainfall over northeast FL Wednesday, though quickly dropping off
from northwest to southeast. Breezy northwesterly flow and
cooler/drier conditions return to the region Thursday, with patchy
high dispersions likely. Dry weather and a predominant northwest to
westerly flow will then prevail through the end of the week.
FOG POTENTIAL AND OTHER REMARKS: Significant fog developments are
not expected for the next several days.
