Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
406 PM EDT Tue Apr 14 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Unseasonable warmth is on tap for the rest of today with highs in
the upper 70s to the middle 80s...but portions of the immediate
coast may have high temps held mainly in the 60s.

Southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph are expected but with a period of
seas breezes possible along parts of the immediate coast. Minimum
relative humidity values will drop to between 35 and 45 percent
for most locations...but 45 to 65 percent along parts of the
immediate coast.

Dry weather dominates Tuesday, but a few showers and
thunderstorms are possible later in the day and evening
especially across the interior.

.OUTLOOK...Wednesday through Saturday...

Summer-like warmth is expected for the rest of this work week
with highs in the 70s and 80s, but a backdoor cold front may
temper that at times perhaps considerably across northeast MA. A
few showers possible at times, but dry weather will dominate. The
exception may be Friday, when showers and thunderstorms might
become more widespread. Mainly dry weather should return
Saturday.
