.DISCUSSION...After a cold start this morning, temperatures are
expected to warm this afternoon with highs near normal. Moisture
will increase from deep south Texas late tonight and move into the
region on Tuesday. Temperatures will warm to slightly above normal
even with increasing clouds. Isolated to scattered showers
Wednesday are expected to become scattered to numerous by the end
of the week ahead of a passing upper level disturbance and
associated cold front. Highest rain chances can be expected Friday
with a 50-70% probability of precipitation areawide. Although
winds will pick up at times, moisture will remain elevated to
negate any fire weather concerns.
