.DISCUSSION...
Seasonably warm, dry, and at least breezy conditions perfectly capture
the expected weather conditions across Southern New Mexico and Far
West Texas through at least Thursday. Temperatures will be near or
slightly warmer than normal. RH will continue very low, with poor
recoveries. Winds will keep a dry westerly component, and be breezy each
afternoon. Thus we keep our fire weather conditions Elevated. Friday we
begin to see some influx of Gulf moisture from the east. Rain and storm
chances east Friday afternoon, followed by better chances for more of
the region Saturday. Sunday looks to bring our next day of CRITICAL
fire weather, as another Pacific low approaches from the west,
increasing our winds, warming temperatures, and drying out the region.
