.DISCUSSION...
Warm and very dry conditions this afternoon will give way to
strong recovery tonight. Cool temperatures overnight should lead
to high relative humidity by morning. Tuesday will be another
very warm day, with temperatures well into the 70s for most
locations. However moisture advection into the region will keep
relative humidity closer to 30 percent. A cold front will sweep
through the region Tuesday night but widespread precipitation is
not anticipated and any that does fall will be localized. On
Wednesday temperatures will remain mild but much cooler dewpoints
will move back into the area. Breezy northwest winds, several
days of drying, and relative humidity falling back into the 20s
will elevate the fire weather concerns.
