.DISCUSSION...A mix of sun and high clouds is expected today, with light
winds generally less than 10 mph across the area. Temperatures should
warm into the upper 70s and low-to-mid 80s this afternoon, with highs
being fairly similar to the past few days. An isolated shower or storm
will be possible across southern Kentucky this afternoon and evening,
with the best chances coming south of the Cumberland Parkway. Most of the
region will remain dry through much of the upcoming week, especially for
Tuesday and beyond. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms will
exist for south central Kentucky on Monday, before a cold front sweeps
from north to south across the region Monday night. Seasonable temperatures
and mostly sunny skies are expected during the middle of the week.
