.DISCUSSION...Another dry day is expected on Saturday, with temperatures
warming into the upper 70s and low-to-mid 80s this afternoon. Winds will
be a little stronger out of the southwest today as a cold front begins
to approach the area from the northwest. This will increase smoke dispersion
parameters relative to earlier this week, though relatively shallow mixing
heights will still limit overall ADI/Vent Rate values. The SW winds will
bring marginally higher relative humidity values with it, though drier
air aloft may be able to mix down to the surface this afternoon.
The cold front will move through the region on Sunday, with much cooler air
arriving for Monday and later into next week. Widespread frost will be possible
during the middle of next week, especially on Wednesday and Thursday morning.
