It will be warmer today with southwest winds. Relative humidity
levels will fall to between 25 and 30 percent this afternoon
across parts of southeast Missouri. This dry air combined with
the sustained southwest winds between 10 and 15 mph and dry fuels
will produce elevated fire danger conditions this afternoon
across the eastern Ozarks. The wind will turn to the northwest
tonight as another strong cold front passes through the area.
Temperatures on Monday afternoon are expected to be 10 to 15 mph
colder than Sunday's highs with northwest flow continuing through
the day. Warmer weather is expected for the remainder of the
week. The next chance for measurable precipitation will be on
Friday.
