Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
322 AM PDT Thu May 7 2026
.DISCUSSION...A drying trend continues with a ridge of high
pressure aloft dominating the overall pattern through the extended
forecast. A brief disruption in this pattern will come into play
tomorrow, but this will only result in relatively cooler
temperatures for one day, yet still above normal for this time of
year. Overall, the next several afternoons will see low RH values
for eastside areas and parts of northern California which will
lead to elevated fire weather concerns.
