Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Paducah KY
438 AM CST Sun Jan 18 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Relative humidity values are expected to drop into the 20s and
low 30s percentile ranges this afternoon and again Monday
afternoon with a mostly dry and cold air mass in place. The low
relative humidity, a continued breeze and lingering drought
conditions will lead to elevated fire weather concerns through
Tuesday afternoon. A brief mid week warmup will be followed by
another, reinforcing shot of cold air toward next weekend as
moisture and precipitation chances increase.
