Passage of arctic front today will bring transition to a few days
of bitter cold, followed by moderating temperatures the second
half of the week. There is a chance of wintry precipitation today
and another chance of mixed precipitation next weekend.
There will be some opportunities for prescribed fire this week.
The bitter cold airmass which is forecast to pass over the area
Tuesday is expected to be very dry. Combined with the wind, this
should quickly dry fine fuels making them more receptive to
fire by mid-week.
